I can access metrics endpoint as /_/metrics
But the message is "source metrics does not exist"

Should I add some additions to configuration file or is it necessary to modify the source code to get e.g. requests count as a metric?

Could you show a little example if you have?

We should really version our docs.
(I would love for a PR, or issue with exploratory notes on this)

The metrics endpoint will only included in the next release 0.18.0
Please see the following issue for details:

• martin=0.18.0 release #1962

To release said feature fully, we will need to merge the remaining parts of the UI at least.
To get metrics now (instead of later) you can switch to the nightly :master tag.
